Welcome, ZERNO- Grinders !

A mid-July update and a much-needed introduction to out new partners in Roasting and Coffee excellence.. It's an honour to introduce Zerno Grinders!  Precision and beautiful design, wrapped up into a modern and insanely adjustable and modular package.

The alignment with Zerno felt natural. Easy communication, a shared desire to make high-end coffee both more accessible, as well as beautiful across the touchpoints we can introduce to the consumer.  It's also an amazing opportunity for us to integrate some uniformity with Bosq; grind-settings coming from the roastery, to help eliminate some of the guesswork here at Aspen's only Michelin starred restaurant.

The Zerno grinder (we have a Z1 in service here) features easily swappable burr-sets, which once familiarized, are a treat to experience the nuanced combos of grind and roast, to maximize extraction potential across the board

The Origin Story- Zerno:

Zerno was born out of curiosity.

The founder, Vel Genov, was trying to dial in shots at home, and he couldn't tell whether an unexpected result was him or the equipment. That frustration turned into an obsession: building a precision-aligned grinder where you can turn the dial and get exactly what you asked for, no guessing required.

The result was Zerno, and that same pursuit of perfection is why they make so many of our grinders' critical parts in-house—so users can get micron-level control in a grinder that is built to last for generations.

For us:

Having a truly precision partner to eliminate variability from Roastery to Bosq, is a huge step towards repeatability and eliminating uncertainty. When multiple people are pulling shots for high-end guests at Michelin restaurants, it needs to be repeatable and perfect... every. single. time.  With Zerno, we can achieve this.  Maximum precision, maximum repeatability.

We can't recommend the Z1 enough, and we're here to answer any questions you may have about it. We're also happy to walk you through it!
