So the experiment with Bosq confirmed what we sort of suspected.
Aspen loves to complain about how there's 'no good coffee in Aspen', so we brought GOOD coffee to Aspen... and essentially nobody showed up after a solid month of patio-presence at Bosq.
Based on observations from the field, the average person here consumes a 30-60oz iced coffee-flavoured milkshake-style latte in a colossal plastic cup, while speeding across town whilst talking loudly into their phone.
This isn't 'mindful' coffee and isn't what we worked hard to bring to the community.
Regeneratively sourced, on-demand-roasted, organic and small batch coffee that's prepared with intention to reflect the intent of the growers at Origin.. is a slow and deliberate process.
Perhaps the larger cross-section of society in this country isn't interested or ready to slow down to appreciate coffee of this nature?
